Leonard Cohen -Take this Waltz. live dublin 15-06-2008

i recorded this on a small digital camera and thought my arm was going to fall off!!!!its very dark as it rained on us for ages but the weather couldnt spoil an awesome show. what an artist this man is!!!!!!
i recorded this to try and show the hundreds of people waltzing through the aisles.
unfortunately you cant see it very clearly but it was a sight to behold!!
we actually stayed at the same hotel as
Mr L Cohen that night and sat across from him at breakfast.that was surreal!!!!

I've heard that a lot of celebrities really like the way they don't get too much hassle in Ireland, so maybe your consideration was much appreciated. I can imagine how you feel though!!

i really wanted to say something to him but i didnt want to bother him at his breakfast.

id hate to bug someone who i have so much respect for!!

then i seen some staff getting pictures with him so when he got up i decided to make my move.i followed him into the lobby but he`d disappeared!! he moves pretty quick for a man his age!

i was sick with disappointment though.i still am, if im honest

Lovely stuff - you're right, the people waltzing in the aisles were great! Did you have a word over breakfast or did you decide to leave him alone? Not sure what I'd do...
