There is an Italian progressive track of the same year which samples
guitar sound at 0:48 and everything between 0:50 and 1:00,
it's called "Oeuvres" by Claudio Rocchi.
Sadly it's not on the Tube; I'll upload it sooner or later
so you can hear by yourself;
plus,that piece is interesting in its own shape:
it's the first case of track sampling in Italian "popular"music,
that kind of pop which merged with avant-garde tape manipulation practices

@Rondo I love this album because of the lo-fi, loose feel and I agree that the 'no producer, DIY instrumentation' is great! - but even glyn johns as a engineer wud have ironed out the many production flaws (like unwanted distortion, microphne set up etc)- In 1970 Glyn johns produced (mainly as an engineer) the Who's incredible 'who'sNext' album- just saying he wud have been a great man to have around in working successfully with paul in the past! Super album! Check out 1997's 'Flamming Pie' :)
