2009 Services and Exansion (VTS 01 1)

The Anthony L. Jordan Health Center (AJHC) is a not-for-profit community health center in Rochester, New York, widely recognized for being one of the first five true community health centers in the country. The mission of AJHC is to provide high quality health care with dignity and respect, regardless of ability to pay. It is a comprehensive primary care health center providing adult, adolescent, and pediatric services, obstetric and gynecology, HIV treatment, dental care, optometry, podiatry, mental health services, and the only health center in New York State (except New York City) to provide Hepatitis C evaluation and treatment. AJHC has been providing medical and dental services to Rochester residents since 1968.

Anthony L. Jordan Health Center has embarked on an exciting journey to expand its services to better meet the challenging needs of Rochesters northeast residents. These expanded services include a larger Oral Health clinic which will offer orthodontics and oral surgery, an Urgent Care Center for after-hours acute and primary care, and a renovated adolescent medicine clinic (Teen Center). These clinics require capital expansion and renovations on the first and third floor of the health center. AJHC is working to raise the funds need to complete these expansions.
