A simple woodworking project and cool illusion using just a 1/2" wood dowel, weighted on one end. You can make this without any fancy tools.

  • why do you have to put the hole in it then put steel in it then glue wood on top?

is it just for decor or is it important

  • @Rockindan10 The steel rod just weighs one end down. I covered it up so it wouldn't show and reveal the gimmick.

  • @stevinmarin yes but do i need to put the steel rod

  • @Rockindan10 Probably...it needs extra weight to keep it upright.
