  • Just curious do you lot record this while customers are in the shop?

  • No.

    J.

  • jose, how about you pretend to look like you're interested for the show.

  • Oh he's plenty interested in the show, he's just not all that crazy about ME. ;)

    Elliott

  • How about you kiss my ass.

    J.

  • Eliot did you get contacts?

The Curmugenly critics of comic crap is a little long winded I wouldn't try to run with that, not to mention it sounds a little dumb.

As for Batman 691 I enjoyed it but, the surprise ending was a real wtf. I feel like for a character that has been around DC comics for a while they are referring to parents and circus background too much in at least 3 books.

Black Mask appears in Batman: Streets of Gotham.

As for Tony Daniel, I think his artwork is pretty good.

  • I got contacts. I've worn them in the past, but they bother me so I'll be sticking with the glasses.

  • @comicculturewarrior ur show is awesome!!

  • @comicculturewarrior jose and elliot are awesome dont stop CCW

  • you guys should be proud of me for ignoring that fan boy mentality of mine of wanting to collect all the batman comics, so yea im not supporting tony daniel :)

  • err... i read the preview for tony daniels' start on the run. Thinking cos I hadn't read Tony Daniel's writing, I respect Jose's views, but I thought I'd give him a chance... I now RESPECT jose, so much more. I only read the first line and... it just . didn't sound right and I could just tell I was going to a long hawl. I just wasn't feeling it. It didn't feel like the Batman I'd been reading for the past few months. So I'm dropping the book for a few months till Winnick comes back.

  • The Bat universe post-BFTC has been very enjoyable. I think there's some blurring in the minds of a lot of readers between the results of BFTC and the actual series itself which was virtually pointless.

  • If Tony Daniel writes/draws Batman#700 that would be a great shame. I'd have to drop it and I don't want to do that. What did you guys think of Deadpool#900??? I thought it was ok and disappointing. Judd Winick seems to create a lot of controversy and shock in his stories which I think is interesting. I read a few of the Winick/Mahnke Batman issues and thought it was a nice read. I'm gonna miss Winick on Batman :(

  • I agree, I would MUCH rather deal with his art too, even though it feels like a throw back to the 90's, with all the static posing and whatnot. And he seems to be a little confused as to how old Damien is supposed to be. That being said, it is still leaps and bounds above his writing abilities.

  • honestly i thought winnick returned to form with this issue pretty forgettable

i only know 1 guy that liked BFTC everyone else thought it was crap

hey im going to save some money for 6 months at least !!!!

  • lol

  • Who the fuck wants to see Tony Daniel back on Batman? What is DC thinking, BFTC sux ass! I agree Jose, I'm certainly saving money for 6 months for sure, cause I won't be buying this piece of shit. Maybe I'm being a bitch, oh well. Those that want to spend their money it...whatever.
