isnt the same as ofp one it will always have a place in my heart, but then again i like this becuase it still gives little call of duty kids that in war one shot can kill.

I enjoy it quite a bit. As long as you know what to expect from the game, it should be pretty fun to play. There's still some bugs and hitches that need to be ironed out, though, and hopefully Codemasters fixes those in future patches, but once they do, then the game will be much better. It's extremely fun to play with friends that you coordinate well with, too. I have yet to try Online MP myself, yet, but I hear that it's still really buggy, so that's another thing CM needs to work on. =P

Looks to me like your CPU doesn't meet the game's minimum specifications, which call for at least a 2.4 GHz Dual Core processor. An Intel Pentium 4 wouldn't handle this game too well, I would think. If you haven't already, turn down some of the game's video settings, especially the shadows (I had them on low when I played), which may help reduce lag stutter. If that doesn't work, all I can suggest is upgrade your comp's CPU.
Your 2 GB ram and Geforce 8800 should be just fine.
