Can anyone please tell me, why the Electric Piano presets on the SY-99 sound different (even better!) than on the SY-77? Is it only because of the better internal fx processor? Or is it because the patches are programmed differently?

The SY77 and SY99 are just as good as the other. Put both on stage. It really doesn't matter. It's the guy using them, not the instrument.
