Summer of 1991. Arrived in Fort Sill, Oklahoma from Detroit. In the midst of Basic Training I sneaked off to the PX and bought four tapes: Terminator X, De La Soul Is Dead, Kenny Garrett, and this classic. I will always cherish what those albums did for me during that time.....and Pete Nice is the muthafuckin' man!

On a slightly different note, they do look like convincing as tramps on the album cover, especially Pete! ha

Superstrut and Chefbaby say it all. Obviously Beastie Boys were there but to hear white guys being real Hip Hop and bringing funk and that flow? I can't explain it.

Great follow up to The Cactus Album. I used to scrawl the 3rd Bass logo on all my school books. it still sounds fresh as a daisy. shame they split. the irony was that my 3 favourite hip hop acts :main source,3rd bass and Eric B & Ra all ended up splitting. i though i was a jinx ! ha

Just listening to this song reminds me of my senior year of high school. It's beats like this that reminds of the creativity of the producers of our era. The beat to this track is funky. Serch & Pete ride the beat like pros. Oh, and Daddy Rich? One of the most underrated producer/DJs of that time. Straight Dope.

This album and this song gives me so much souvenirs of a great period of my life... Thanks to a special friend who lived In Villers-les-Nancy (Phil my big homeboy)who makes me discovered this great band.
It's a pity that they haven't product more albums..
