  • @MrMattNice yes there is some bowing, i guess only time will tell (no leaks yet) i had to build this with a very tight budget so i went with the thinner pannels. The two filters made by eshops where much more than I had expected and the sock material is not that good, it has a plastic rim at the top wich is very cheap, im afraid the next time i clean them it will break.

  • I see your panels are bowing alot from the weight of the water, isn't that not good? I think it will slowly weaken the sylacone seal you made. I only say that because I used arcrylic lexan panels orginally for my fuge and when I did the leak test it bowed like crazy. Tooke it all apart and used cut glass panels instead. Much better, no bowing.
