  • If the wealth is taken to save Kerala, then the Muslims and Christians should also sell their assets and help to save Kerala too. Why only Hindu temples need to save Kerala or India for that matter?

  • i am hindu but i like every religions and i am not at all against other religions.but in this case whtat i have to say is that only hindus have the right to debate about this because this is about a temple wealth.

  • This M A baby is christian how he is suggesting what should be done with hindu temples money ?

  • Words such as "wealth," "treasure," "antiques," etc. in this context are misnomers. These objects are articles that devotees of the Temple Deity have donated out of their free will through the centuries. They should be seen as "Danam," or donations to be kept in the Deity's precincts. They are not meant for museum exhibitions or distribution to claimants. They are not property and therefore are not covered by secular law. They should be classified as "Vazhipaad"-- sacrosanct gifts to a Deity.

  • As per latest records, only 16% of Keralas population is below MPI, if a Government cannot handle this much population and change economic policies to help them, they have no right to rule! Temple assets for whatever reason belong to temple should not be touched! Why people are mesmerized is still not clear, it was always a known fact that there were treasures inside this temple! Charity can be done using Godmen's money, since God is not involved in any business to double or triple it.

  • CPM Politicians should not be talking about God. It is blasphemous to their out dated philosophy. Secondly, politicians should not ask temples to do charity when in fact it is they who should be in the fore front of sacrificing for their constituents.
