the Parents Television Council has released a new report accusing Hollywood producers of attempting to corrupt youth through television programs. In it's report "Sexualized Teen Girls Are Tinseltown's New Target", the PTC says......

When underage female characters appear on screen: more sexual content is depicted; the teen girls show next to no negative response to being sexualized; more sexual incidents occur outside of any form of a committed relationship; and there is less accuracy in the TV content rating.

@BlackTalkMedia My parents tried to block it, but I got pass the block in a few minutes. %90 of teenagers watch porn, I am not alone. I don't get what the big deal is, I am not hurting anyone, it is making me less stress, and I am not going to get an STD from doing it.

@shinokiba Perhaps when you get older and have children of your own you will understand. I too engaged in things as a teen I should not have and wish I had not. My point is that this is inappropriate content for network television. Really it is inappropriate period, showing teens engaged in sex and sexual encounters with adults is wrong and it can not be justified.

I'm an advocate for turning the television off or changing the channel when I see a program(s) I don't care for. Family Guy is not a children's program, by the way.

What I do have a problem is with adult content being shown at a time when most children are still up. Even where there are no graphic images, the language is atrocious. Commercials are guilty of both. Why am I watching a Victoria's Secret or erectile dysfunction medication commercial in prime time?

@DeepDarkKingdomzX The thing with the shows in this video which I got from PTC, the characters are teens in highschool. Also, Adult oriented programs and content are supposed to come on between 10 PM and 6 AM. Like you said, this is come on during what has been traditionally known as family programming hours. The FCC is the pocket of the Corporations, doesn't matter if they are calling themselves Democrats or Republicans, they are not enforcing the rules and have not done so for quite some time.

@BlackTalkMedia I hear you. Sitting in front of the television with my grandmother can be uncomfortable. She's 96, so you can imagine what she thinks when she hears the language being used (her sight is not so well, so gratefully, she can not see what is being shown).

Though I prefer more adult programming, I was pleasantly surprised by one show on ABC, "In The Middle". Not only is it well written, but it's entertaining and very family oriented. There needs to be more like it.
