The BCS is BS, why college football needs a playoff

This video was made for a portfolio at Baker College. I utilized a speech outline to describe my plan for a hybrid system in Division 1 football. Essentially, the top 16 from the final BCS ranking will be invited to a 4 game playoff to determine the national champion. If a conference champion is not ranked in the top 16, then the lowest ranked team will lose their place in the playoff and be replaced by the conference champion.

the BCS needs to add 2 more rules.

1. Undefeated teams keep playing until somebody beats them

2. NO rematches.

@Hawkeyesownyou1 playoffs dont need to be simple but they need to make sense like nfl playoffs ....i love college football.....for the actual rival games thats almost it ......ppl say its the best football but they play fewer games than any division or company of football and the best team is never decided each year......well the best team in the sec is decided thats about it

The only system that would work is a 8 team playoff system. NOT a 16 team, just 8. NO automatic bids, the best 8 teams whoever they may be.

Who the hell cares about SC vs Clemson, or USC vs ND if the winner has no shot at the title.

8 teams three weeks; fans will show up, because it would freaking awesome. Plus the TV ratings would be through the roof.

Their is absolutely no good why their isn't a playoff system in D1 football, about 80% of fans would love a playoff. CASE CLOSED

with out non con games rivalrys like UGA vs GT, USC vs ND, South Carolina vs Clemson, FSU vs UF,UF vs Miami all go out the window (an those are just the rivalrys i could think off from the top of my head)...that would never happen sry
