Well said MC! Ya know, my husband, just your average USA lovin college kid during the VN war, was needed in some spc'lty capacities. He had to pass muster for Top Secret Crypotgraphic Security. When they called him in to tell him he passed most honorably (in the days of rampant flag burning and rebellion), he just smiled. Not 1 smear, not 1"boneheaded" mistake or antiAmerican association. Everyone needs to drop this political BS. I served our great nation in excess of 12 years and let me tell you something; Bush, Clinton, McCain, Obama, it won't matter who you vote for. That person will be our supreme commander regardless and Troops will still end up cleaning up the monumental cluster fuck that the politicians have managed to create abroad. What in the hell? McCain would have got booted from the Naval Academy except that his father and grandfather were four star admirals. He was a perpetual screw up, troublemaker and graduated 5th to last in his class. He crashed or was responsible for the loss of 5 aircrafts. He milked and exploited being a POW for all it was worth, cheated on his first wife and divorced her to marry a beer heiress. McCain has been involved with scandal and saying whatever it took to get reelected. Hero? Please...
