Can't say i know Cyclefly. I think it was more whilst Nirvana created this whole grunge dark scene, Radiohead came out with ''the bends'' which was this completely different type of alt-rock with falsetto. Naturally any band then that starts developing that sound will be called a copy. If anybody deserves the title of alt-rock inventors its Pixies however.
As a radiohead fan myself i don't see the similarity that much,

@killutilludi. my son loved these back in the day. Sadly he passed away in july i too would like to hear them live as a tribute to him. Bring them back

@Koakuma6x9Heaven Actually, they weren't. Muse was formed in '94, with their first album (showbiz) released in '99. JJ72's first album (JJ72) wasn't until 2000. JJ72 weren't even formed until '98-'99. Not that it matters though, they both kick ass.
