Rubbish! Overland did not say "students should look poor if they do not want to be targets of racist attacks." He mentioned nothing whatsoever about race in connection with this statement. Just another example of totally inaccurate Indian reporting! Anyone flaunting their valuables in almost any city in the world increases their risk of attracting criminal attention.
