Here is the great Norrine Linderman singing at her 79th birthday party at the Bull and Bear in Red Lodge, Montana. At 79 she is still working two and three nights a week and is still the greatest female honky tonk singer of all time. She knows hundreds of songs, has never written a lyric down and works hours that would put younger singers to shame. At an age when most women have long ago stopped performing she is loading the van for another weekend on the road. At one time she carried a ten piece band and played the biggest casinos and clubs in America. Today, she works with guitar player Art Wicher and bassman Tony Lehman. She is in the Montana Country Music Hall of Fame.
I've been watching You Tube for quite awhile but this is only the second video I've put up so I'm still figuring this out. Bear with me.
