  • At the end of the video you show a picture of Little Walter. I was wondering if Little Walter (the DJ) is still living?

  • @zeke3350 ... can You post THE CORVETS Recording , on-YouTube ?

  • This song is the greatest how do I know because Zeke was my boyfriend then and I was there to hear the song first and the base was a great guy wow thosw were the days Vinnie I miss them

    Kiki

  • never heard of the group until tonight

    great sound

  • As a former re-incarnation member of the Bob Knight Four(1993 UGHA shows) I gotta say John Roper should be given a lot of credit for his arrangements, grueling rehearsal schedules(love ya John) and writing. The man knows his shit! If my acappella group The Five Chancells(Dawn Records-Bronx 1965)) had Roper we coulda been contenders! Best to you John Steve Willette Sharon Ct

  • Thanks, Moondawg. This is Gidget! Only kidding you! (smile) Great song!

  • This was the "pick hit of the week" back in '61 in NYC. I ran out to get my .45 and it has been one of my favorote songs of all time. I was surprised to learn that they were from Brooklyn. Great stuff.

  • Great song, Zeke. I remember your song and this group like it was yesterday. "Good, Good Bye" and "For Sale" are my favorites. I have an older album with their hits, and them holding a Gold Record on the cover. Listen to "For Sale", and see what they sound like today. Amazing. On the original record Bobby goes up really high and hits the high notes, he doesn't do it here, but just listen to how great they sound. Bob Knight Four "For Sale". Thanks again Zeke, for a great song.

  • did you know the corvets originally recorded this song in 1960 on laurel . in fact their bass is included in the bob knight four's recording. as well s the original soundtrack how would i know? i wrote the song and sang with the corvets

  • good pick
