'04 Infiniti G35 Coupe dyno

First, many thanks and props to the staff at Advanced Motor Sports in Irvine, CA. Let there be no doubt that they are a 1st class outfit. The owner, Mike (G35 6MT owner), is very meticulous and fastidious about his work.

Second, Wasup! to the fellow G35 owners that attended the event.

My '04 Infiniti G35 Coupe has ~35K and is completely stock other than a Z-Tube.

Max HP=226.64 | Max TQ=216.27

Hey are you sur ethat that dyno wasn't off a bit? 226 sounds kid of low. Don't get me wrong im not bashing at your car cause i own one too. If your engine is the rev-up then your pushing 306 crank subtract 15% and you end up with 261 to the wheels. I miss that stock sound, i ended up going with the xo2 ture dual and non resonated test pipes it don't sound like a g nomore ill have to go with the magnaflow setup

I have the non-revup (280hp) and my results are more or less average for VQ35 on that dyno.

I agree with you about the stock sound. The first time I heard it I got excited and asked the sales guy if my car came with an aftermarket exhaust ;-)

Seriously i do love the stock sound of my G too.. I just bought it about a week ago and damn.. I got the non-revup too 280hp.. it sounds awesome when I start the car.. just really deep sound :) I roll down the windows when im going thru tunnels hahaha and i get shivers

I must agree, sweet video. I have an '04 6MT and to this day, still get excited every time I'm behind the wheel, even in stop and go So. Calif traffic. Never could understand why anyone would get an automatic trans in this car, stick is just too much fun to drive.

226 HP? I don't understand how it can be so far from the 298 HP that Infiniti claims! The Honda accord v6 3.5 gets 245 at the wheels and its not even rear wheel drive..

nice looking car, numbers are a little lower than i would have expected but believeable. My friend just bought a 04 g35, sounds good, pulls nice, but nothing crazy.

I got a bpu 3000gt vr4 and its deff on a diff level. G35's are deff much better daily drivers but vr4's are just nasty if they run right and are atleast bpu

yeah,we got our 06 about a week ago,and its awsome because when you turn it on its like *start-start-start-start- booooom* its not loud but you definitly notice it,and it gives you this powerful feeling too :)

Actually the rev-up G35 made something like 298hp. 306hp is the different HR motor from the 350Z, which these cars never got.
