@NatesRockMusic some people don't use one but it is best to you do not have to use a store bught one you can make it if you do your mash in a 5 gal bucket just drill a small hole and insert a rubber gromet and put a plastic tube in it seal with flour water miw and run hose into bottle or cup of water

@RaceTraitorHater cause it will be upwards of 80 percent per volume and if you make it right, it will have a smooth taste. Besides most people make 10s of gallons at a time so it doesnt matter how long it takes to make.

@gotdathenny half a jar of shine, fill the rest with apple juice, add 1 cinnamon stick, and half an apple. thats how ive always seen it done, not sure on gallon jugs.
