This was suggested quite a while ago but I am just now am able to edit videos. I do my best to give her all the food groups. We still feed her about 2-3 jars of baby food a day just to fill in the nutritional gaps.

  • wow- i cant even get my 3 year old to eat that much food in a day! thats great though you can do it. thanks for the ideas.

  • @cadensmom25 Haha, she doesnt really come close to eating all of that. Her diet has changed SO much since then!! She is two years old now and all she wants to eat is yogurt, oatmeal, Vienna Sausage, and chicken nuggets....and on occasion she will eat grapes and apples. She is a very picky eater!

  • Lucky Charms have a lot of sugar and chemical dyes. Canned peas have a lot of sodium, Goldfish Crackers are full of salt and dye too.. Boyardee has tonnes of salt ... Canned mandarins , again.. lots of sugar.

Ditch the cans, try fresh or frozen. I only mention this as other parents are going to look and this an follow suit if looking for advice.

  • While yes lucky charms are high in sugar they also have 100mg of calcium and 40% vitamin D...not to mention folic acid, iron and vitamin C. The peas are not canned fyi...goldfish crackers are a typical snack for kids...I'm sure most parents would agree and likewise give them to their children. There is NOTHING wrong with canned stuff, especially for a child of a busy mom whole hasn't the time or money to buy fresh 100% of the time. She is healthy...you raise your kids and I will raise mine....

  • @TrulyBlesssed5586 actually, canned foods are not as healthy as lead to believe.most of the time, these foods are processed. As for cereal, there are plenty of other foods that offer those nutrients with half the sugar.if you are stripped for time, try make homemade food in big batches and freeze them..its simple to do.

  • @sareenagreen2010 I agree they arent as healthy but at the time they were all we could do. My daughter is 27 months now and will eat whatever hubby and I eat...so she way more nutritionally sound.

  • I noticed my toddler prefers canned peas over frozen peas, so i think its ok to use canned food. At least she eats the peas and loves them.

  • how old is she? thats a lot of food

  • Dana- agreed. A lot of processed foods and sugar for breakfast

  • she eats more food than I do and I am 20.

  • lucky charms for breakfast. thats terrible. she needs eggs or yogurt and toddler cereal not the sweet stuff.

  • I know this is a fairly old video, but thank you for the advice and info. I really appreciate it, don't even think about others who might try and judge. We all do the best that we can. Thanks again.

  • @TrulyBlesssed5586 luckily i never had to deal with picky eaters but man..my niece is the queen of picky! she will literally only eat three things for weeks.
