Medication essentially masks psychosis, it does not cure. Not all people experiencing psychosis are experiencing it for the same kind of reasons. There are many causes of psychosis, from nutritional, to toxins, to past trauma, illegal or illicit drug use, thyroid issues ... the list goes on and on. Psychiatrists seldom if ever deal with a person experiencing psychosis in a way in which is either wholistic or even addresses the root causes.

I definately think meds, exercise and healthy diet are in order. This doctor needs a reality check. In this video, you can see how much Ruth is suffering without meds.
