WTF How old is the base of that pc?

@hazcheezeburgerz i used my credit card, because cpu got in mail for me.If pins are to much bent for card to pass,, try to find slimmer card or something. Going from intel to amd, amd has pins on cpu, and when I got it into socket and pulled that lever, it sounded like all pins broke, I almost passed away lol

I replaced my air cooler yesterday. I took the processor (AMD Phenom 9850 BE) off and when i put it back on, i bent 4-10 prongs. I was in panic but got them bent back.
I think the problem with your PC before you put the watercooling in was lack of a rear fan. It really can make all the difference :) Also if you have a pair of tin snips, or large pliers, I'd try and enlarge the rear fan hole to 120mm. Should give much better cooling :)

@sheps999 Maybe, but I'm using this stock AMD fan on another build and when the CPU loads up, it sounds like an airplane despite 2 rear fans on the box. Next time I buy another Corsair unit (which I almost certainly will do), I'm going to make sure the case can handle it properly w/o alteration.
