For Fathers Day, President Obama chose a "Blame Dads" subject for his speech, blaming fathers for fatherless children. Yet, according to the US Dept. of Health & Human Services study "Survey of Absent Parents", 60% of fathers are denied access to their children.

  • Obama wasn't blaming all fathers, just the ones like mine, that would rather just sleep around like my mother, and not take responsibility for their actions.

  • @abdishtar - He should have made that clear, because most are due to mothers denying the father access to the children, yet he doesn't admonish mothers for doing that on Mothers Day. He should have complemented the millions of fathers who yearly spend thousands of dollars trying to enforce court orders, while mothers are provided free services to enforce child support.

  • Obama continues to hate fathers. This is not accidental that yet another father hating misandrist was elected to office. Do we expect any change? Nope.

We are instead disengaging from their system. Good bye. Young men, I tell you do not have children, do not have wives, do not have girlfriends. Instead, enjoy your video games and let people say you are not "true" men. Instead be true to yourselves and not slaves to the system.

  • @BrokenDownOldFart You are absolutely right. Thank you.

  • For the piece of garbage fathers that simply won't be in their child's life Obama is dead on. They should be reminded that they are the scum of the Earth and that they are doing tons of damage to child.

My father (and mother) had every opportunity to see me whenever they liked. I only saw my father twice both around age 15.

Fathers that are denied access know that Obama's speech didn't apply to them and I applaud him for talking about the issue.

  • I honestly don't feel bizarre in any way and I don't have a father. In fact I am very successful thank you very much. It is all a load of Christian and abrahamic religion bullshit that not having a father will mess you up. It's only a problem because our society percieves it as one.

  • @MrMemars

This is a crime punishable by jail, you as a father must enforce the jail time. usually 30 days. I let her slide one time & it came back to slap me in the face. I will not let this slide again!

  • Denial of a normal access to exchange love between children and a parent should be a crime punishable by jail.

  • @BrokenDownOldFart - this statement is so false you know i believe every culture every race is different but alot of Black men dont step up they Runaway and it kills me It is different if you never experienced this

  • @BrokenDownOldFart

Completely agree. Or while fathers are sitting in foreign jails because mothers break US laws with regard to custody. Its not just the fathers, actually the mothers are just as bad, and are (unless its the step father) the cause of worse problems for the kids later in life. Like was in my situation, it wasnt my father being gone that was the problem, it was living with a mother who wasn't very good
