Pediatric Brain Tumor Removed in Two Minutes Using NICO Myriad

Five-year-old boy with history of recurrent intraventricular tumors had pea-size tumor located in lateral ventricle removed endoscopically with NICO Myriad. Once access was obtained, visible evidence of the tumor was removed in two minutes. Surgeon noted reduced surgery time by several hours, requiring less anesthesia for patient and faster recovery time.
