Is this a joke? The only species? Do you even understand evolution? The vast vast majority of species that have died out because they could not adapt to their environment. The fact humans are so widespread across such a variety of environments and maybe we'll even be colonising the Moon or Mars in the next 200 years (assuming we don't end up destroying ourselves) is a testament to how resilient and adaptive humans are.
