Sadly, this bitch and her party want to cut funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the National Endowment for the Arts... you know, those wonderful people who helped fund Ken Burns nine volume masterpiece documentary of the Civil War. A documentary this woman BADLY NEEDS TO WATCH.

After that dumb ass comment, Jefferson is still not resting. He's spinning in his slave. People like russo and the bachmann supporters must live in a god damn bubble where none of her stupid shit can penetrate. A response from her cronies that I would respect would be something along the lines of, "She clearly made an egregious and wholly erroneous statement that she needs to issue a 'mea culpa.' " Anything less, and you get kicked to the curb.

Wow, Chris Matthews owned Sal Russo every step of the way, and it was because Russo HAD NO LEG TO STAND ON. His candidate said something profoundly dumb, profoundly dishonest, a profoundly dangerous attempt to rewrite history to gel with a radical right-wing agenda, and he flatly refused to acknowledge it.
How many times did that botoxed reptile dodge the question? Honestly, somebody count.

A rotten block of wood has more intelligence than Bachmann. She is also married to a fat gay guy.

The only correct thing that Bat-shit Bachmann was that John Quincy Adams was an anti-slavery advocate. And I think she only said that to cover her own ass over the rest of what she said.

chris canned him! love it

For some of you to be cursing leaders(Dem/REB) in writing and claimning to be Americans at the same time is very confusing. Yes a leader will have flaws but remember that they are standing up and spend long hours to serve. I realize that many of you making these comments are already on prescriptions and anti anxiety meds but please don't make it worse by speaking curses over OUR leaders, it will come back to you and your families even worse. Your ignorance of spiritual laws do not cancel them!

"for 21 nations we've passed the torch of liberty"
Well I will do my research again but are you joking with your pathetic remark. Didn't you read the first part in my post about the dark cloud. Peace

@superbm77, Wow, you really are clueless, aren't you? You come here and literally scream (in all caps) that Matthews is "WRONG" and then completely make up facts surrounding the Three-Fifths Compromise and then, not quite done with pulling comments out of your ass, you have the gall to accuse Matthews (again, screaming in all caps) of "MISREPRESENTATION." When I point out that you're wrong on every count, your lame response is "Well, I will do my research again." YOU ARE PATHETIC!

Please, all you people calling her stupid do your own research. Saying you disagree with a leader is one thing, calling them stupid increases the cloud of darkness over your own life. Matthews is WRONG..the constitution does not say black men are 3/5. The Dred Scott court case stated it. Notice at 2:32min. and beyond he claims she knows so little about history and then gives his own MISREPRESENTATION.

@superbm77, You're exactly why people think Michele Bachmann and her followers are fools/idiots. You said, "Matthews is WRONG..the constitution does not say black men are 3/5." The ORIGINAL U.S. Const. adopted in 1787 contained the famous Three-Fifths Compromise in Article I, Section 2, Para 3 (look it up). Dred Scott (Scott v. Sanford, 1856) had NOTHING TO DO WITH THE COMPROMISE (read it). It was the 14th Amendment to the Const. that overruled the Three-Fifths Compromise. You're pathetic.
