What the basic prognosis ended up being was that the PVID was not switching all levels together. Instead, it was switching level 4, then level 3, etc. Somehow, the network was being tied up by processing and it seemed to only switch the last two levels first; allowing the audio to change and perhaps one of the colors (blue I believe) but not the actual sync signal.

Are you using a gate way and if you are, is the gateway freq correct for you system?
