sheer awesomeness

sorry but I had an Ibanez V once that was not neck heavey (but sounded pretty shitty with stock pickups and had a lacquered neck, which I don't like).
Otherwise maybe consider custom built V.
Cheers

Hi Bernie,
Its been 3 days since the Japan show and months since the blog post about posting rehearsal footage or the like. Not knowing how busy you guys might be, i may sound like a prick but is there a footage of the live show for us to see?

dear Bernie..am afraid i keep botherin u..but wud like to kno if d NEW 24fret vortex that ur other guitarist bought is neck heavy??..really wanna buy it..or else wud go fo a fernandes revolver..i really find neckheaviness annoying!..pleas reply.

All V's are neck heavy. It's really not the neck that's heavy, it's the body that's light. If that's an issue for you, then a V isn't for you. You should be 100% comfortable with your axe, so get a Revolver. They're awesome.

Thanks Paul. Every Flying V I've ever played has been neck heavy. That's just how V's are, since you're forced to lock on the strap where the neck meets the body. I do the "Michael Schenker stance" mostly when I'm soloing in the higher frets, but during the rhythms, the guitar hangs pretty nicely.
