Time is now to leave the major cities. Work in the cities, do mission work there, the gospel still has to be preached, but when possible move your families out of major urban areas.

@Nirky It came with much hardship and loss - but I remained hopeful in the promises of God. The way was not clear until about 3 days ago. I was living in a state of great uncertainty for many months, not sure where my situation was leading me. He answered. He made the way possible - but it did not come without sacrifice and the loss of my job and all financial security. @SupremeFetishist : It's much easier to stake your claim on land out in the country, miles away from large cities, than it is to try to fight hundreds of others for resources in a non-sustainable city. Where do you think cities get all their goods, such as food and water? Give me two to four acres at least 100 miles away from a major city in either direction any day! I'd much rather try to secure a perimeter around my land, grow my own food and protect friends and family in the country.

Suicide. If there is a collapse of such magnitude you will need to be IN a city, close to infrastructure, security, distributed food and what little jobs remain. Everywhere else will be scarcity so bad people will be looking for what they want and if you have it, they'll take it. Study history "FEUDAL SYSTEM" and you may understand. If it gets as bad as to be 'collapse', it gets worse in the country of Rome than Rome itself, trust me. It will be likeAfghanistan, worldwide, for centuries.
