@notincutler your not very observant for 2 reasons.

1) 0:38 bullet didn't come straight back if you watch you will see it bounced off ground and then towards shooter

2) if you don't think something hitting you in the head hard enough to draw blood is gonna knock you hat off that is pretty stupid. mythbusters has to be one of the stupidest shows ever those two guys are useless!

It can and has happend numerous times. People have been killed or injured from riccochets. Sure it's rare to be hit by your own bullet but it does happen. I once was hit by my own in beween the index finger and thumb on my left hand, I've had zillions of my own bullets zing over my head.

@dom0tron Yeah, I shoot all the time. never had a ricochet come back at me. Never seen it, never heard of it happening. Bullets fragment when they hit something hard or at the very least distort all to hell. Lead is soft

Were you shooting steel bullets? I know steel bullets are very dangerous and they can do that and will start fires.I wil never shoot steel ever again.
