  • @dddhgg

Baroque Clarinets have a register key that helps them play extended ranges. Chalumeaux can only play a limited range of one octave.

  • A chalumeau has same fingerings as the recorder, but mouthpiece and barrel of a clarinet.

  • @chessypicklegirl I play clarinet but is hard to play on oboe =D

  • @dddhgg they're the same thing. chalumeaux preceeded clarinets

  • i play carinet and oboe i love them

  • But what's the difference between a baroque clarinet and a chalumeau, if any?

  • It's a baroque clarinet, yes

  • by the way this piece is not written for the modern clarinet, but an ancient one on which there are only 3 keys

  • I've never heard a piece for clarinet written in baroque time

  • extraordinary

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
