In yet another grisly accident , eight people died on the spot and 37 others sustained serious injuries when three vehicles were involved in an accident along machakos nairobi road.
Roads are the same since 1960's, no safety rules,no barriers,no cameras,no traffic lights,no road lights, no road signs, holes everywhere,no traffic police-only in towns rarely not 24 hours, still 2 way traffic.....etc.....Is this development?
OMG, i feel so bad looking at those images. But I am afraid its only a matter of time we see similar images again. I think the best solution for now is to heavily monitor these roads for now since the construction of a dual carriage way is a fairy tale.
I ask myself the same questions do passagers just sit there and watch as a lunatic behind the steering wheel just overspeeds and overtakes carelessly without anycare in the world? Why dont people just say enough is enough, force the driver to either stop or slow down.
again, it is time to get these useless wreckless drivers off our roads. I am tired of these needless deaths. Iteere you are busy sleeping on the job. Bring back Michuki.
There's nothing more worrisome than Kenyan roads. Noboby is in charge of the lives of anyone. Head'on collision type accidents ought to be a thing of the past; what they reflect more is the drivers recklessness and disregard of the highway code, or a need for dual carriageway. But its more likely the overtaking driver's fault.
Either they make cars out of tin-foil, or the kinetic force was equal to a combined 120 mph mechanism of injury.

To begin with, these matatu drivers are not Licensed and even if they are, not morally. All because of corruption both ways!
