Young Barn Owl

We had a charming little visitor today - a young barn owl. We found him in our street. Unfortunately, he flew into our kitchen. Emma from the SSPCA managed to catch him and return him to his owner in Gorebridge. She said there had a number of sightings and she had been trying to catch him all day.

@aWiibitcrazy RJW14's right; this barn owl is pretty chill and doesn't mind human contact.

If you (or anyone who's curious!) want to see what a barn owl looks like when they're afraid of humans and want to get away from them, look up "Barn Owl Hissy Fit," a video of a wild barn owl in an animal rescue shelter. They'd rescued the owl and were trying to nurse it back to health, but the owl wouldn't have any of it!
