Lol, its crazy, Windows and OS X are better, but I format to Ubuntu when I get bored =P

well it really depends, it takes some getting used to, if you've never used much less seen a unix based os in use, i suggest you download the ubuntu live iso, make a boot disk and try it out, or run it inside windows, that way you won't risk losing anything important

Yep, ubuntu is a great OS for newbies to linux. It's definitely the least frustrating of all OS's, I'd definitely try it out if I were you.
