I do agree that we all need to start with ourselves learning about ALLAH (SWT) and Islam which in turn will increase our faith and improve our actions to be pleasing to ALLAH (SWT), and i say this to myself first before anybody else.
look im all for the modesty thing but before heading out to try n make ppl better muslims start with ur self....if u r really as islamic as u seem u wouldnt even be on this page listening to music
3 - singer is DEFINITELY the wrong kind of role model! A successful college student who has the confidence to perform in front of a large crowd should always be a secondary role model. LoL
4 - the arrogance you derive from the song expresses your lack of understanding of the lyrics, period.
conclusion: get real.
how would u suggest we cheer on a performer? by reading a duah lol????
1 - Muslim girls were not the only ones who were yelling, there are simply the only ones you can hear. And I doubt you would show the same kind of disapproval to boys who were yelling. Cheering someone on has absolutely nothing to do with modest or losing control.
2 - heaven forbid us imitating non-Muslims! Why don't we all just drop out of medical school and stop using Youtube. AFTER ALL, it is a blasphemous invention of the West!
yes truly an expression of excitement and emotion is against the very essence of what Islam is! not.
Islam is, before anything else, a religion of flexibility and expression. may Allah guide us and help people understand why it's wrong to judge other Muslims. What happened to modesty? You don't seem so humble! In fact, you seem kind of arrogant.
kids are just having fun. no one is committing adultery here...give me a break
I got on this site because I received an email.

-A sister cheering and yelling for a man in front of men= lack of modesty, humbleness, shyness, control, and wisdom.
-A sister cheering for a sister in a women only audience = fun.
-Flip the scenario, a brother cheering and yelling for a women in front of other women = lack of modesty, humbleness, shyness, control, and wisdom.
-A brother cheering for a brother in a women only audience = fun.
-We can imitate the good of he non-Muslims, not the bad.

yes, there are all types of fun, but let's stick to the fun that's pleasing to ALLAH.
Islam is a religion of Halal and Haram, and in between is a grey area, whoever falls in the grey area will fall into the Haram.
My concerns:
1- Muslim girls loosing modesty, humblness, shyness, and control.
2- Singer and crowd immitating the non-Muslims
3- These singers becoming role models for our Muslim youth.
4- Arragonce displayed by the singer(he may not be, but that's what's apparent on stage)

What happened to Muslims not acting like the disbelievers?
What happened to modesty?
Muslim women loosing control and yelling at the top of their lungs???
What happened to Muslims being humble? the rapper didn't seem so hummble!
Truly we are immitators/followers of the non-Muslims even if they go into a lizzard's whole!
May Allah guide us. Aameen.
