Beautiful car but I don't think a bunch of greasers would have been driving a Cadillac and it would have been easy to put this through a "vintage" video effect filter to get a bit more out of it.

dvdmrtnkls: You are absolutely correct! I lived in Dallas & started elementary school in the Fall of '58. We had segragated schools! At the state fair, the water fountains & washrooms were segragated. Women--forget it, if they weren't like Donna Reed on TV.

Very Clever! I'd like to have neighbors like that! '58 Caddys are beautiful. In fact, the '57s, '59's, '60s & '65s, as well as the '67s! Paul in Scottsdale.

Not only were the 1950s white people confused about which engine found in their Cadillac. They wouldn't allow Blacks to sit in the front of the bus nor earn a new Cadillac, Women were never Executives nor Managers and Jewish Families where not permitted in White Anglo Saxon Hotels & Country Clubs.

Whoever did this for history class deserved a D, tops. The '58 Cad used a 365 cu. in. version of the 1949-1962 Barr-Cole engine. This one's an Eldorado and has "tri-power," 3 2 bbls. It was coupled to a 4 speed Dual Coupling Hydra-Matic. Give an idiot a camcorder, and...
