I heard the book wasnt even real that it was made up to scare kids in the 60s and 70s was disapointed because i grew up in the late 60s . I read the book and saw the movie dozens of times and to find out it was made up was a real bummer.

@jlc32592 jeez calm down its just a book. let people believe what they want to believe. oh and ok i read it when i was 15. a lot of my friends that were into writing at that age could easily write something with that good of a vocabulary then.

No your all fucking retarded because its NOT a real diary, it is a work of fiction. It was written as a fake memior at the height of the drug culture as anti-drug propaganda to scare kids from using drugs. It says so right on the copyright page, and cant you tell from the eloquent prose and large vocabulary that no 15 year old could write. Youve all been duped, its still a great book though.

that book, IS ONE of my top 5 favs, its A-mazing to the extreme, i couldnt put it down when i got it. Finished in a day.... you guys should read it, its the diary of a real girl whos drink was laced with LSD and she got hooked D:
