found a blues channel on my tv a month ago and absolutely can't get enough. Charlie is my favorite. I like most music genres but BLUES is the BEST!!!
-
I once heard a story back 'round '75, i was 'bout 21, that charlie was one of but afew to be allowed into the predomantly "black" clubs in Chicago? 'n' that's why I day Chicago blues all da way all day long
-
Yeeeeeesssss! Thank you!

@Escagedo3rd Well the guitar sounds just like Larry Davis, Texas. But Charlie was musically nurtured in the town of Chicago, after growin up in Memphis, and born in Mississippi. So I imagine it brins together "quite a few" elements?

great stuff. grew up listening to Charlie and Paul Butterfield, Mayall, etc.
-
deffinetly Robben Ford
Yea man! I can see why you dig this one. This is classic, Chicago or Texas Blues? I seem to think it's got a Texas sound to it. Love it just the same, this is what I can understand the best! Blues.
Great post Al!
