@siobanethier The reason why i started to hate it was because i despised all the people in it - especially Dianne, Julia, and Amy! I found too much fault with Dianne because she was nothing but a slut; i also found fault with Julia because she was a brain-damaged completely mentally disabled retarded bastard, and with Amy because she was an irritating little creature and a self-pitying worthless waste of space! That's why i was angered by the movie adaptation and found it too upsetting!

@thepinkflowers1 Like i already said, if i came across the book i'd scribble all over it or rip it up to shreds in anger! I wouldn't even bother reading it before destroying it!

I tried reading the book and the movie is so much better. The brothers' names are not even the same. In the movie they are David and Mark and in the book their names are Tim and Allen. Julia is a lot older in the book and the last chapter of the book is written in Julia's point of view.

If i ever came across the book (which the film was based on),i'd probably scribble all over it - just as i've been scribbling all over my other books in anger and frustration! And i wouldn't care if the book cost a lot of money or if i ended up having to pay for it!
