This is a video of Tasha, my second adopted pit bull who died on Feb. 2011. When a pet dies it breaks your heart every time. Then you have to decide whether you are going to be too chicken hearted to love again by getting another pet. But always remember that there are so many dogs and cats out there who have no home, or are in abusive situations. No one can save them all, but each of us can do our part by opening our hearts (either for the first time) again, despite having gone through the feeling of emptiness we feel when our pets die. Be brave, open your heart.
