Eastmanarium: Chinese people value prosperity, stability and results more than political freedom. To understand them, you should look at things from a Chinese angle.

Especially minorities in China don't get killed or tortured just simply because they are protesting. If you riot or kill you get punished which can lead to the death penalty. I'm not an idiot to think the people don't get tortured ordered by corrupt officials. Not to say that its perfect (far from) but this government is the best government they ever had, furthermore quite allot of Tibetans are pretty happy with the current situation especially compared to when the dalai lama was still in power

i don't think those schools and hospitals are free for tibetans. doesn't matter how sick a person is if you don't pay first, they wouldn't do anything, they let you die. i know those, and do you know how many kids aren't able to attend school in villages just because they don't have enough to pay??? ALso how many are unemployed in Tibet-maybe 2/3 are jobless. Have some sense of humanity and learn the truth!

Education actually is free, people receive healthcare subsidy, and the unemployment rate can be explained by people that choose to live the traditional life or choose to become monks (which is funded by the state). Although the Chinese government is not perfect can be brutal and highly corrupt, it has done far more for the Tibetans than any other government/leader (dalai lama) in the entire Tibetan history. So why don't you get your facts right before you start telling people to leant the trutth

How amazing to see first hand information away from corporate and state manipulation. I wonder what the CIA agent so called dalai lama has to say about facts documented in this video. I have heard dalai lama means ocean of wisdom, I for one am totally sure this dalai lama is ocean of BULLSHIT. Thanks for the informative video.

Oh, and I guess I also meant there is very little freedom of the press/media, along with free speech. China ought to reform its government to become a constitutional Republic, which I think would, alone, solve the Tibetan issue, and expand on liberties there.
