Hello, my name is Pamela Andersen, a mobile phone user. This rap song, "Talkin on Your Cellphone", as well as The Static Movement, was created out of sheer frustration from distracted drivers talking and texting on their mobile phones.
Another reason for this movement is that my brother was in an accident while riding his bike. A distracted driver hit him in broad daylight on a rural road that had no traffic. He would have died if he had not been wearing a helmet. No doubt the driver was distracted and possibly talking on their cell phone. My key message here is not to be a distracted driver.
"Talking on Your Cell Phone Texting while you drive" is a fun way to share the message about the dangers and concerns of texting and mobile phone use while driving.
Let us all work together to "keep both hands on the wheel' by utilizing safer ways to communicate while driving such as blue tooth and voice recognition products that can greatly reduce distracted driving.
