Britt here with a tutorial to help you hear and see how this piece is played. Close up of hands, played slow, should help you learn this piece. Book is published by Hal Leonard and available at your local music store or search online. Up is Down At World's End Pirates of the Caribbean Piano Solos Item #HL00313380. You can perform this with the piano sound, but why not make your keyboard or digital piano sound like an orchestra. This tutorial shows you what instruments to use at what point in the piece. You will need to use the various combinations of split, layer, split point, octave. Some keyboards and digital pianos (like my Roland RM-700) will let you layer two sounds in the left hand and layer up to 3 sounds in the right hand. And many of the presets are already combinations of layered sounds. You can store all your sound setups in a User Program or memory bank and then switch instantly from one sound set to the other. My Roland let's me tap the left pedal to switch from one sound to the next. I used 32 presets to play this piece. Good Luck! Have Fun! Be creative and experimental with the settings. Please be sure to watch my full tempo performance version of this piece.
