This collection of old films represents how we used to live across Chinese and English cultures. Film from Manchester in 1901, Nottingham in the 1920's, London in 1903 to Shanghai in the 1920's, Beijing in 1930 and Hong Kong in 1950.

This very different movie edited by using CyberLink Power Director 9, provides the viewer with a sense of the past while listening to carefully chosen music by Hall, Savant and Watts on their 'Angels Among Us' CD, track titled 'Heavenly Guardians'.

The movie clips edited into this video are from films that are parts of collections as listed: BFI Films, BritishMovietonews and MichaelRogge. An edited clip was also used from the movie 'The time machine' from Time Machine Movie channel.

With the introduction I tried to create a sense of going back in time for the viewer without using any text. Glad you like it, thank you,

Thank you so much for your words. Your right, crossing cultures is not new, although we tend to think it is with global transport and communication, but in our time it is just another chapter in the history of the Diaspora. Once again thank you for your kind comments and your time in watching this latest video. Take care.

  • @CiaranPaulRoche
