@FurorCelticaGames yeah i have this and can get some ripping tones. really it's those damn speakers and his stupid settings that make this sound like shit. Celestion rocket 50s suckass. they can't handle the bass frequencies of any guitar imo.

@FurorCelticaGames hey man im seriously looking at one of these but cant find any good info. can you just explain the tone a little i know its hard. was it really kirk tone? could you go to gain one and play creeping death and get that sound? did gain 2 sound like all nigtmare long and my apocalypse? and most important the clean was it full and clear like the day that never comes or one? thanks man i really appreciate it

It's because his settings are lame. If he actually set it properly, you'll hear it's a decent tone. Sure it's not tube, etc. etc. etc. but bear in mind Dime used Solidstate for most of his career (Randall at that). Check this dude's settings : For a scooped mid Metallica tone you need to scoop your mids to round about the 9 o clock position, with higher bass than treble, also his counter is set horrible. It's a great amp, I played through a Randall tube and this, this sounded better.
