This takes me to my happy place...This ad used to be shown on a Friday night when "The London Programme" was on(love the music from that as well)and "South Of Watford" and the whole weekend lay before me....

well i rode my bickerton 1000's( lterally ) of miles in the 80's,saving fortune on tube+bus fares.doddle to ride once you get used to it and a cinch to fold/unfold.don't listen to any cynics,they're great!

This is the Bickerton TV advertisement from November 1983. It was put together for Bickerton Rowlinson Ltd by Sharps advertising, who subsequently became Dorland (part of Saatchi and Saatchi). This was a brave 1st for a small bike company.
