The Rocket Summer Contest - Solo on Violin

The Rocket Summer is having a contest for someone from each tour date to play the sax solo from So Much Love on stage with them! (:

So I figured I'd wipe the dust off my violin and give it a try. It's a bit off since it's the first thing I've played on it in about two years but I know given the time I could definitely clean it up.

I'm entering for the 11/11/09 show at the Crazy Donkey in Farmingdale, NY.

Nice! That was so good! What city are you trying for? You should let me know 'cause I will be posting a video of me doing the same thing on my violin too, and it's very similar to yours [except I have no idea how to do vibrato...] Also, I haven't touched my violin in 2 years, and I picked it up the second I heard about this! AHHH! I don't want you to think I copied you! :-/

PHEW! Good! I'll be trying out for the Milwaukee show. And actually, I had mine posted yesterday for a little while, but I thought it sucked, so I took it off. HAHA! I'm gonna try again later 'cause I know I could do better! I want this so badly! [But don't we all?]
