Rig Rundown - Joe Bonamassa: Effects

http://www.premierguitar.com PG's Joe Coffey is On Location in Des Moines, IA, where he catches up with blues guitar-slinger Joe Bonamassa. In this video segment, we catch up with Joe as he talks and plays us through the current line up of guitar effects on his pedalboard for the current tour.

He demos some of his favorite amp and effect setups including a Way Huge Pork Loin, a Fuzz Face (custom-made by George Tripps), a replica of an old Whirlwind phaser, a BOSS DD-3 Digital Delay, a TS-9 Tube Screamer, a Fulltone Tremolo and a rackmounted TC Electronic TC2290 delay.

My son and I saw him in Norwich in Dec 2009. He did a workshop in the afternoon of the gig . He's such a nice friendly down to earth guy. We met him after the workshop and he was very polite and even allowed everyone stay for the sound check! The gig was just brilliant. He's a top guy and a fantastic guitarist!

Yeah i think money isn't issue for me because i like saving up for the things I want :)

I just love pedals and amps because Digital modeling can only do so much, right? I love analog and boosting already kinda driven amps with overdrive pedals and such :) I want to be the guy that stays simple his entire life :) guitar... pedal board... amps... DONE! lol I do love working with digital stuff though :)

and yes he's AMAZING :D
