Although a low income ($12,000 gross per year) earner myself, I do not share the opinion that taxing the rich more and not taxing lower income earners is the only solution. It is a solution, but it will eventually mean that the rich will be over taxed to compensate for no taxes coming from the poor. So much of their earnings will go into taxes that eventually everyone will be on the same level...or POOR to put it more bluntly. It will not raise the standard of living, but lower itconsiderably

I'm not sure your logic is well thought out. All I can say is we tried it giving tax breaks to the rich and look where the country is - at the foot of a recession. Maybe we should try a new alternative... eh? See how that works. I'm up for it. Can't get much worst than it is now.

Only people making OVER 250,000/ per year will be paying more in taxes. It DOES NOT affect working-class people. PERIOD! Get your facts straight. Also, this war is making us less safe as it continues.

In this film Obama's head was filled with words. Good words such as Change, Give, etc. Nothing wrong with the words themselves, but if you've ever taken Psych class in college, you'll know that putting them in his head is a Psychological tool used in brainwashing.

I am sorry, but how about as an educated society, we take our advice, you have suggested to read a book, and live up to those suggestions. Although i dont know what book you are referring to, but Obama is no different than any other democratic hopeful. He supports big time lobbying firms and has yet to rule out using preemptive strikes against other countries. How about lets stop putting this guy on a pedestal and expect him to bring in a "new America". Wake Up.
