The Liberty State Park in New Jersey has awesome view of NYC skyline, and it's perfect for strolling and biking. The drive to there is easy (New Jersey Turnpike Exit 14B), and parking is free and plenty. You can see Jersey City, Ellis Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty. If you walk to the other side where you board the ferry, you can see the Empire State Building much closer.
Recorded using Sony DVD403 Handycam.

  • @SuperZpoFan then, I MUST visit this spot next time I'm in the city!!! Thanks for the video.... I hope more are on the way :D

  • @nlosborne Thanks a lot for your kind words!

  • @nlosborne You can also check out Exchange Place in Jersey City - WTC will be right in front of you. Blvd East in Weehawken, NJ is also nice. You can go to Exchange Place by taking the PATH from NYC, and take the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail south to the Liberty State Park, and north to Weehawken. You can also take the PATH to Hoboken, and you can walk along the Hudson River.

  • Thank you so very much for posting this video viewing the Statue of Liberty, NYC skyline and everything around it. I miss the twin towers so much. So sad. It's a dream of mine to see the statue of liberty and nyc skyline with my own eyes. I enjoyed this video so much because you didn't talk at all, you didn't need to since it's self explanatory. Thank you.

  • @jeannie52 You are welcome. Thank YOU for watching.

  • This video was taken exactly 2 weeks before our dear friends in NJ took us there to see the Statue of Liberty. It was wonderful to see the Statue, but there was something missing in the NY skyline. Last time I was this close was 1999, when the towers were still there. I will never forget.

  • @spacekozak Yes, I guess nobody will be used to the missing towers.

  • I loved this. Thanks.

  • @nlosborne Nothing is altered in the video. I don't have that ability. : ) Only zoom in and zoom out.

  • Is this altered any? Because the buildings appear in thus video to be much taller than in real life???

  • Amazing
